Aren’t you worried that the new A2L refrigerant gas Carrier will be using is already on the radar scope for a ban in Europe for PFAS. I am looking at replacing a still running 1986 R22 Janitrol/Goodman unit. I am leaning towards the lower quality Goodman that will use an environmentally safer refrigerant (R32). The higher quality Carrier will be obsolete when DuPont bails out on their proprietary R454 refrigerant just like they are doing with R410a. Time for some of these HVAC equipment companies start making better choices.
