That's a r22 compressor. ZR is 22 ZP is 410a! Always check the voltage too! At least the customer saved some money! hA!

You nailed it Joe. Just goes to show u can never assume that the customer gave correct info to manufacturer. I'm so used to ordering my own parts and will always verify all parts for now on. Gd thing is only at pump down stage. Never added charge or ran system. Will b easy changeout once right compressor comes in

I refuse to use customer provided parts. Never goes well. Good to catch before spreading mineral oil with POE! Good catch!

Thanks Stephen. After 13 years in trade. I guess I got a little comfortable. Humbling experiences like this one keeps me grounded and always trying to improve.

Jason I have been doing this for a long time too and have not verified parts in the past. My boss would have blamed it on me for not verifying the parts when I showed up because I should have known better and the company would eat the labor cost. That being said at least you didn't run the system like I did once and I was experienced enough to know better at the time. Your are correct when saying we get complacent at times, we are only human and not machines.
