When I change a heat exchanger always try to have another man helper Mason's a lot easier and faster

If that's by the ocean it may be the saltwater causing the problem

I do that same smoke blocker trick too... I HATE York Sunline heat exchanger repls....esp. the 15 ton . I feel your pain

Ya those style exchangers are a nightmare to change especially by yourself
