I swear every hvac man I’ve run into has some sort of storage system that involves sheet metal boxes. I used to do plumbing for a mechanical contractor. It was nice being able to ask the sheet metal guys to make shit for me.

The box truck is ultimate truck for Hvac, only con is for a one or two man show for seating or having to spend the money to a dedicated work vehicle, a utility truck crew cab or even ext cab also lets you seat your family and your able to take the truck out places the box truck can’t.

Очень крутая концепция. Шкаф на колесах. Единственное с чем не согласен - каждый електро инструмент должен лежать в своем чемодане. Так лучше сохраняется и с ним удобно хранить его оснастку. (быры для перфоратора, круги для болгарки...) Отношение американцев к инструменту и организации труда - образец поведения для всего мира. Стараюсь учиться у Вас ребята. Привет из Украины.

You are very organized but just the tools you have on your truck come to more than most of us make per year so this is great if you're self-employed .this job of doing heating and air conditioning just comes to more money than most of us make I spent 40 years doing this and I just don't see anyone new in these days being able to put that much money into their job. But good luck to you. Also I don't see anyone over 35 in the past 15 or 20 years doing this for a living I guess they all moved on to something else. Good luck!!!

I service all aspects of “HVAC”. Gas, oil, & heat pump forced air. Geothermal , water source heat pumps, every type of hydronic heat (including steam & solar). Tankless water heaters. Residential & commercial. To properly and professionally service all of this, it takes a lot of the correct equipment.

Nice set up..... My boss is getting me a 2022 F250 with 8ft utility bed not enclosed. How did you put a roof on yours?

It’s just a vinyl tonneau cover. I had a local tarp company custom order/make it for me.

It’s okay. Could be a little more user-friendly. My Testo was better but The cost of recalibrating every year got ridiculous.

All personal preference, I was in a van for 8 years. Now in a service body truck for the last 10 years and would never go back to a van.

Commercial or residential? For Commercial the truck stock we need and the tools.we need kind of necessitate a large van

Commercial, I don't keep much truck stock but definitely have room for all the tools I need on a daily basis. I see too many different types of equipment to worry about truck stock. I've always thought of truck stock as more of a residential side thing.
