I'm retired now Curtis. But before I retired there are a few items I had on my van that you didn't show. 2x4 junction box / w a switch A porcelain light w pull chain. I worked on a few oil fired furnaces so I would always have a nozzle kit and fuel filters A red EMERGENCY SWITCHPLATE FOR A 2 X4 JUNCTION BOX. BUT THE VERY MOST TOP OF THE LINE MOST IMPORTANT , MOST VALUABLE , MOST USEFUL , MOST TIME SAVING TOOL I'VE EVER OWNED AN " ULTRASONIC LEAK DETECTOR IT WAS INVALUABLE. COULD DETECT A FLEA FART IN A HURRICANE. GET ONE AND YOU WILL BE AMAZED AT THE LEVEL OF ACCURACY AND SPEED. WILL SAVE YOU TIME. AND " TIME IS MONEY " BTW. I'VE WATCHED EVERY VIDEO YOU'VE DONE. GREAT JOB.

I think you forgot the kitchen sink, when you loaded everything else. 🤣 the main reason for storing and keeping acetylene cylinders vertical is to keep the gas/liquid in the porous material inside and not have any of the acetone/chemical/liquid it's dissolved in leak out. But without the filler or enough liquid it may get very angry and go BOOM all on it's own or provoked minimally👿. it's a highly unstable gas all by itself and a stiff breeze can set it off with ugly results. that size cylinder leaking out inside a van/trailer/truck cab, when ignited would pretty much leave only the floor pan and sections of the body/roof panels dangling off to the sides😱 having oxygen tanks in there also adds to the ka-boom if something every did happen(like a wreck that breaks the valve off). I know it's about impossible to store them outside(without being stolen and too hot/cold). too cold can cause nearly zero pressure and leaking the liquid chemical out.

Is that a impact mounted on that veto bag? The only dewalt tool I have is their tiny 8v gyro drill. It's the thickness of a screwdriver and can drive self tapping sheet metal screws and small paddbits. Its always loaded with malco 1/4 x 5/16 driver. I use it 90% of the time running calls... taking off covers and everything you can think of... hardly ever go after the impact or even a drill all my drill bits and drivers are 1/4 hex to use with the tiny drill. Tellin ya ....check it out.

Good job Curtis... Make sure you keep your shit locked up. If you don't have surveillance on your shop, you need to do it fast. Once you put this stuff on the web, thiefs browse the web for videos like this.
@HVACGUY
@HVACGUY 2 жыл бұрын
Bro, I appreciate the concern. I’m well protected. I learned long ago to add surveillance and alarms, because of thieves that happened to work for me. It’s particularly bad when you invite them into your shop. It’s a reality every small business owner has to deal with.

I only have time to clean my vehicle once every three or four months just too much work to do. Between those times my vehicle looks like a homeless person‘s shopping cart they live out of. Thinking of hiring and training a high school kid once or twice a week to clean out and organize my vehicle. At the same time he can learn something about tools and equipment and if he’s inquisitive and wants to learn more give me the opportunity to weed out the difference between an employee who is interested motivated excited and has energy or that other type of employee who doesn’t care lazy and late doesn’t want to learn anything and there’s always crying why me, I am owed. Automotive shop wood shop sheet metal shop and metal shop welding classes and detailed advanced electronic classes have been removed from the California school system for nearly 40 years now. Instead of getting kids who might drop out of high school just before they graduate with some knowledge some hands-on experience know what the names of tools are because they took auto shop and Wood shop for the last four years they come out of school knowing absolutely nothing and we have to spend the next 2 to 4 years training them for something they should’ve known out of middle school to high school level sad state of affairs are public school system is in

Cmon...you know someone gonna give you shit....you gotta clean it after every single call before you stop the clock. Customer has to pay for it. Otherwise it will get out of control and end up lookin like dirty Mike and the boys used it for a f@#$ shack

@@NoflectioN I used to be a clean freak and extremely organized anal OCD mechanic. I went through a divorce and ended up like this complete 180° opposite. Instead of Felix from the odd couple had to change my name to Oscar. Showing my age. I’m never off the clock I’m the owner operator technician I wear all the hats. Literally have zero downtime between jobs from 7 AM to 7 PM I’m running without any breaks or off time. Been running like this for 30 years now

Sounds good, but when you got customers screaming.... We are the same way running all day long, trying to keep up keep everyone happy juggling 100 things....guess it's better than no work!
