HVAC Zone. How to Fix Honeywell Zone Damper and Actuator.

Customer called with a complaint that their living room kept cooling even when they turned the thermostat to off. Found failed zone actuator, which stayed open even when thermostat satisfied. It is supposed to close when the other zones in the home are still cooling. Diagnosed, replaced and tested new Honeywell zone damper and actuator. Now, the area of the home is cooling properly

Great video. I have the same honeywell actuator on a 3 zone system. I had the same issue detailed above and was trying to diagnose to isolate the issue and determine what I need to do next. This helped tremendously. Thank you!

Thanks for the great video, wondering if I can just unscrew the shaft bolt on the old damper motor box and slide on the new updated servo motor without taking out the Fin's box?

Yes you should be able to.

going through the same issue right now thanks for the video. Only thing i see different is I cannot manually move the damper open or closed its like its stuck.

What do the numbers represent on that damper ? T.I.A

The number are the size of the damper box itself. In this video I believe it was height and depth.
