I like the longer saw blades as I only put in holder when I get ready to use the longer stroke makes cutting faster. I carry in a Tale of Knives sheath that has a pen holder which I use to store the T-shank blades so always handy.

I've decided on mine to leave the file in there and carry the longer blades like the others come. It's nice to have a bit longer blades.

I realize that Leatherman did it first, but being capable of holding jigsaw blades is a massive improvement to multitool capabilities. Same with multitools that can hold standardized bits(Leatherman almost did it, but just had to go the weird proprietary route). The Leatherman Surge replacement files being so close to compatable with the bibury with a minor modification is also awesome.

Lets go further crazy......1) A laser pointer. 2) Electrician screw driver. 3) Thermometer. 4) Ferro Rod. 5) Our favourite - A dispenser of some sort. We could go real crazy but reckon you would have thought of it anyway. Again fun vid mate. We like it. Cheers cobber.!

do you prefer dl30 or bibury overall

I like the Bibury better at the moment, but it's more of a cosmetic preference.

hi, can you show how you added the belt clip ? i show on another of your videos you added a belt clip which had a sticky backside but the one you have now seems to have screws so its much more reliable. thanks

This one is adhesive as well, it just screws into the flat piece that's adhesive.

8:30 it's not necessarily that the tool is so cheap. Rather that the t shanks are so expensive. We are used to shelling it so much money for a tool

I am always using metal jigsaw blade in my adapter. and It is the best! It can cut through any thick plastic, wood, metal etc. Jigsaw blades for metal are relatively thin and cutting very very accurate comparing to the Wave edge file or serrated blades. And actually this metal jigsaw blade still is very fast with cutting wood and it's disposable. I mean when I cut 1km of corrugated pipes or hundreds holes in electric boxes every month - there's no any serrated blade in any multitool to survive such a demand. And jigsaw blades costs nothing and doing job even better. I also tried to make a scalpel adaptor for t-shank but the multitool itself is a bit bulky handle. so I just put a scalpel and two unpacked scalpel blades in the pouch.

Good to hear the jigsaw blade works so well!

Agreed - for a tiny amount of metal, jigsaw blades give you an almost unlimited ability to cut materials cheaply. I use good quality Bosch blades and it makes all the difference. I don’t know why this wasn’t done a long time ago.

Would be intersting if it worked with aluminum from a soda can

If you put the hook scalpel into the adapter the right way up it would fit better.

Mr. Kincaid, what's your favorite multitool you just leave "stock" and carry it with you? Do you have a secondary carry to compliment your main tool like your Huo Hou, Leatherman Leap, Juice C2 or SOG Powerpint? I really like the SOG Powerpint. I put one in my winter jacket with a packet of tissues, Bic lighter and pen light. I ordered a second SOG Powerpint from overseas a week and a half ago. I'm interest to see if its a "second." I plan on carry with my Leatherman Arc. I would love to see a Leatherman version in the same length frame. Its very pocketable and I love the number of implements it has. The can opener only partially works and the scissors are better but nothing to brag about. For quick snips they're okay but they cut paper, jagged and feathery. I still rather have the scissors than not to have them at all.

So far the PowerPint and Charge TTI are some of my favorite untouched EDC multi-tools.

Instead of cardboard, use the striker off a book of matches. It will give you a small striker for your matches

Yeah, but even having 1 file replacement file option is great.

I don't know why no one includes a 2D universal cabinet key for utility related works. I always need to use the needle nose part and for example the original Swiss Tool was not perfect for me because too blunt. Crate opener worked for some, but not perfect.

does anyone knows where to get spécific things such as a double side action wood saw ? or the file ? (i do know there is a bundle but it is in my opininion pricy for most of people that would just need to refill a file or woodsaw) BY THE WAY ! i'm so confused, which one is better ? forward teeth woodsaws, Backwards ones ? "neutral" ones ?
@hvacbudget86002 ай бұрын
These tools use regular T-Shank saw blades. Anyone from dewalt, milwaukee etc should work but not necessarily close. You need the saw blade to be 3" or so for it to close or just grind off the end of a longer blade. Another option is to buy the Leatherman Surge file and saw kit and just grind them down slightly to fit in this thinner exchanger.

So I use a universal holster clip that has adhesive on mine. Works great. I did a video on that as well.
