​@@HVACGUYkind of funny yeah I was thinking that checking to make sure it's going to work for the winter pre-inspection kind of suspicious yeah plus with the thermostat being sideways on the wall I remember when you did this one prior I do not think that thermostat was like that just so you know heads up yeah I thought something was up here it just seemed a little weird so a couple other people said it I think he's just wants a winner inspection to make sure it's going to work for the winter you know what I mean wow so what you should have done was put it in heat and test that that's what I would have done okay you want me to check I can do that hit click the reversing valve and try it out

only other thing i would have checked was the air split inside. I had a coil that was clogged and would not cool, every thing looked good but had to look at it with thermal cam to see the issue. love the channel.

Ductwork leaking or insulation has come off? Compare air temp after the indoor coil compared to delivery air temp at the supply diffusers.

Well it might have been a little more shaky, but the display on the Fieldpiece app was really clear. I'm not sure if the image stabilization has any impact on that or not, but it looked really good, no complaints here.

I observed a dirty condenser coil @9:30. The coil needs cleaning. A dirty condenser will not allow the system to keep up on the warmest summer days when ambient temperatures are approaching or exceeding design temperature. I shall give the customer the benefit of the doubt here. The problem I see that raised a lot of suspicion is lack of timeliness to communicate the inadequate cooling call. Contacting any AC company four months later with this complaint is fishy. I'd have billed him for the call as a PM, as a courtesy, as we think he might be an established customer. A lot of debris can accumulate in four months in the outdoor coils. This was not a "call back". HVAC Guy fixed the original issue with his clogged condensate drain problem four months prior.

Oh my goodness 72 !!!! I keep our house here in Fla @ 78 and it feels like we are freezing. I do have a hygrometer and watch that is never goes above 68%, if so, then I lower the temp to 74 for an hour or, so the AC can take more humidity out of the air, then back to 78. Humidity above 70 it can be 73 deg but feel like 80

68% rh? If mine gets over 60, I get uncomfortable. I run a separate dehumidifier and 72-73 degrees. I use to could handle 78 when I was younger, but my breathing has gotten worse and my waistline has gotten bigger 😅

​@@MrRupus2020 My indoor RH is 50%. My thermostat is set at 78 degrees. If I set it one degree cooler to 77 degrees it feels too cold. I have a 5 ton air handler matched with a 4 ton heat pump. Nothing fancy, just a five year old 15 SEER Goodman system. Had to set the dip switch so the AHU fan runs at the lowest speed and it is still moving 1640 cfms. My RH improved when I redid the air distribution system. Moving the air slower onver the oversized 5 ton coil increases the level of dehumidification. My building envelope was in negative pressure before and I installed a new 10" return air branch duct and what a difference! It is no longer pulling in the high humidity ambient air anymore because now my building envelope is in positive pressure when the air handler is operating. Moved the AHU out of the attic into the garage. Easier to work on and my line sets are much shorter and they no longer run through a sweltering attic in the Orlando area. High liquid line temps in a hot attic will decrease HVAC systems efficiency. The importance of residential air distribution systems is overlooked the majority of the time unless you go custom. I despise a spider box system that has flex duct running helter-skelter. I'm old school and know the difference a good air distribution system makes in comfort and equipment efficiency. Mold and most fungi cannot survive in a building envelope maintained at 50% RH. Note- It doesn't hurt that I have quite a bit of field experience in commercial test and balance.
