What I really like about your work is that you don't pull any punches when you are having problems and show exactly what you do to solve them. Thanks so much!!

CW (OSE) stands for CW Opposite Shaft End. You need to use the CCW (OSE) wiring diagram. That would make your motor CW shaft end.

They confuse you with the shaft end thing. You got it. I think you may be right about that guy with the thermostat. If that unit has the "c" wire, he may be ok, but it being that old I doubt it. Nice job man.

It's really enjoyable to watch your videos - you don't constantly whine about "I hate ", you don't mock the comments the viewers leave, you don't try to constantly peddle unnecessary products or services through your videos (referral links in video description are perfectly ok) or to your customers, you don't discuss any cringe politics. You just fix stuff, that's it. I wish more HVAC techs were like that, especially the ones who post videos on KZbin.

I can usually do simple wiring jobs, but I installed a programable thermostat on my 10-year-old unit and it only lasted a few months. Our AC guy determined it wasn't suitable for our unit. $125 later, we had a functional unit. Nuff said.
@s550wulf99 ай бұрын
if you were concerned about low charge, you could just take the refrigerant pressure at static, convert to temperature, then take ambient air temp and compare.

Get yourself a bag of Romex clamps or some snap in bushings for 1/2” knockout holes and quit struggling with those factory plastic wire clamps. The wires on replacement motors are thicker. Those factory clamps can’t accommodate the wires on new motors
@wendelfears10279 ай бұрын
Use the right tool. Those fancy adjustable pliers isn't the right tool. A pair of needle nose vise grips is the tool you needed. Which should be in every repairmans tool bag or box.
