IF time allows, and I am faced with those vertical installs and have to deburr a line, I do it while pressurizing with nitrogen, if the condenser isn't brazed in yet, just tape the hose to the line I am deburring.

Is it ok just to use a shop vac to vacuum a pipe that the shavings fell into. Thanks.

Best practiced is a spring assisted tube cutter or an auto cutter that leaves almost no bur. Ideally the more square the tube, the better. Then hit it with a knife, spin, torque, test it. Then you got yourself a nice DRY flare connection. Dont be complacent using nylog and unless you got an engineering degree you should apply nylog on when the install instructions call for it.

You should really look into the hilmar expanding swage kit. Unbelievable product. Saves time, effort, and money
