I always thought scopes where for targetting, not for holding the rifle. Perhaps you should try a vacuumcleaner for shooting?

My HW100 bullpup came with a nicely made aluminium pic rail adaptor, a decent bit of kit. Hate it when "quality" manufacturers start to cut corners as well as stick the price up. Never heard anything quite as daft as a plastic scope rail.

Yep came with the rifle swapped it out a couple of weeks backs with metal adaptors and was hammering a 20 mm at 63 meters great rifle rubbish pic rail

I binned the plastic pic rail from day one. I wouldn’t touch any mounting system that is weaver/picatinny compatible because it will move. If you want to use a picatinny rail make sure it’s part of the gun not bolted on and the scope rings must be picatinny fitting only because weavers will fit but are smaller and will move around in the slots enough to affect accuracy especially at distance.

Talking rubbish. A cheap dove to pic rail might move but if you buy good quality like eagle vision no probs at all. Why would it move on a pcp anyway, no recoil at all, it might move if you carry the rifle around by the scope

Metal and plastic never go well together had to bin mine when I realised it was moving all over the shop... what has gone through their minds I do not know! just to save a few pounds would have paid extra for a aluminium Rail in the end went out and bought an eagle Dynamics Rail...what a Poor shw by HW

If they’re fitted correctly I don’t see how they can affect accuracy. Mine are rock solid. Fitted onto the dovetails and screwed down with three screws. Can you explain why you think they affect accuracy please?

@@Seamaster1963 shooting off a tripod or prop when you steady the rifle by holding front part of the scope the point of impact changes Go back to the bench and all is well no contact with scope

Yes I had the same problem, they really are shit, when the scope is clamped down ya can move the scope and rail about, FLEXING, the only way around the problem is ta get eagle vision pictinny mount rock solid, also can I ask why your cabinets are raised of the floor.

@@glennbaxter2597the eagle vision mounts are a waste of time too many grub screws to fall out and the majority of scope rings are weaver/picatinny so never a correct fit in the grooves. The bottom line is the whole set up is flawed because you’re bolting a scope into rings,clamped to a rail that’s bolted to the action it’s unnecessary and adding a failure point. Keep it simple.
