Sadly it seems a large amount of K-pop fans just can't appreciate actual musical artistry, meaningful songs or just click on what's trending. DPR Live for eg. they create really good music & unique videos but for a while it took so long for them to hit 1m+ views on their music videos

because RBW didn't promote it, she mostly is loved and supported the most by general public in Korea and half of them didn't know about her comeback,, and her intl fans (moomoo) preferred to buy MAMAMOO's summer package and canceled their pre-orders of the album when rbw dropped the summer package link💀

@@Yiyang1130 FOMO is the only fully English song that Hwasa has released and when the album was released the song was bought digitally even faster and in more countries than the title track because people love Hwasa's voice and even think that she is fluent in English or have lived in an English-speaking country. The other times she has sung in English are covers and they have also been very well received so her sales have nothing to do with a "weird accent" she is simply popular with the general public (who tend to buy the songs digitally) but they don't have a solid fan base (who buy albums and merchandise) and added to that their company hasn't even promoted it internationally nor does it promote it well in their countries. They practically rushed her to release this album and then only gave her 3 days of promotion and just when they were pre-ordering her album they came up with the idea of releasing mamamoo merchandise.

Because half of the population didn't even knew she had a cb. When she performed I'm a B in waterbomb festival this June, a lot of ppl were asking what song was that? They all liked it but didn't know it Hwasa's latest release. RBW badly promoted the album, pre promos were messed b/w Mamamoo's season greeting announcements, for post promo she got 3DAYS to perform her song against artist promoting for weeks on m shows. She didn't had music shows, she didn't had add promos, she didn't had album schedules & variety shows. Basically nil public appearance. Even then her fans made guilty pleasure the only album 2 have its 2 songs debuted billboard Top 10 in 2022.

FOMO is a masterpiece on its own leauge. It's short enough to make you crave more and long enough to entrance you. The mid song change in the melody makes it dynamic and exciting. The strong bass in the end pulls your heart strings to an extreme. The song can be felt through all your bones. Guilty Pleasure is such a great performance by Hwasa. I don't think I've ever heard an album so complete, fresh, and connected in a way that the three songs seems like a continuation of one single changing sentiment yet outstandingly diverse.
