Koreans are so stupid that way. I thought we had it bad here in the U.S. but Korea is REALLY rough. Hwasa is GORGEOUS and always has been. She would totally be welcome over here as an Exotic Beauty.

@@chatnoir-i8x Yeah, darker skin is one of the reasons those idiots over there might think Hwasa is ugly. Over here in the States, we call her 'exotic'. She looks AMAZING from our perspective. If the Korean Beauty Standard does not ever get straightened out or cancelled entirely (since it is SO GODDAMNED UNHEALTHY to so many people for its absolutely unrealistic and downright IMPOSSIBLE view), then Hwasa would always be welcome over here. We would take her in a heartbeat. She's GORGEOUS. I am very glad that she decided to become her own standard, though, instead of falling into that trap. She's strong all on her own. AMAZING human being that I am proud of, and I don't even actually know her. OBVIOUSLY the looks are only skin deep and that's just one facet to anybody. The Human inside the nice wrapper is always more important than the outside.

@@chatnoir-i8x Exactly. The total of darker-skinned people FAR outnumber the total of lighter-skinned people that would fit the Korean Beauty Standard. The KBS is really just B.S. It's an elitist's wet dream and it only harms people (mentally and physically) who do not fit inside that impossible box. That's also why we have Idols debuting at fourteen years old, time has not taken a toll on their bodies YET. Those idols grow up within the confines of that box but eventually they will no longer fit no matter how hard they try because aging inevitably happens. It's disgusting to do that to anybody.
