With the S 95 if you stock suspension and you don’t use any of the special tuning for power it handles a lot better just do what you can normally do an LS customs and handles a lot better as long as you don’t touch suspension and you can do the transmission work he has

I agree that HSW treatment provided more cars to be competitive among some classes but it was kind of a bummer that Rockstar gave such treatment to the Turismo classic which was already the king of the sport classics. I feel like there’s a lot of missed opportunity with these HSW cars added. I would personally like to see a car like the Ocelot Lynx get such treatment. It’s such a good looking car, but it’s underwhelming in the power. If it were to match the same power as the Sentinel with HSW then honestly I’d be fine with that.

The HSW upgrades is a nice addition, damn these are quick! Part of me wants to say that I wanna see these upgrades for quite a bunch of cars to see if anything can reach actual realistic top speeds (because that would be really fun), but I’m not sure if that should happen for balancing sake I would really like to see a Comet (any version except, like, Safari) HSW though… or an Infernus HSW. Or maybe something for one of the broken advanced handling files cars?

Quick question: does the hsw suspension have any effect on the performance of these vehicles? For me it felt like the hsw suspension gave the hsw vehicles more understeer than let’s say the middle suspension option.

HSW suspension has no special effect,. it's just an extension on the existing suspension upgrades

As a former Arbiter GT owner, I can confirm it's the worst muscle car I have driven since the Tampa. I like the look, but I would not recommend it. Edit: I haven't driven the Vamos that much, not because I find it awful to drive.

I think the whole top speed vs traction point becomes a little moot considering how much faster these cars are (in a straight line) than literally all other cars in the game.

Not really, considering the Banshee is nearly 20mph faster for top speed than the Pariah but still can't beat it around the track. Same for the S95 being nearly 30mph faster for top speed than the Itali. Their top speeds get them in that position, but their lack of grip in comparison is what balances it.

Hakochu drag is real life Suzuki Hayabusa but has added aftermarket turbo tuning and a long wheelbase. They should make more bikes based on real life bikes like Yamaha R1, BMW S1000RR, Honda Fireblade etc.

R* never changed performances on cars that were not glitched exept for overall mecanics like downforce on cunning stunt cars and bouncy handling flags. I don't have E&E to test this.. but Broughy saying the new Cyclone has acceleration that could be considered on the level of a rocket powered vehicle gave me an idea. What if you could continously dodge missiles with that thing? Driving head on to a Mk2 or even a Toreador at decent speed makes the missiles always hit just behind you, so what if you drove head on, used the handbrake to spin 180°, and drove head on again? Usually you'd be at the mercy of the boost cooldown, but since the Cyclone is just that fast naturally, you could do this continously.

Maybe you could dodge 2 or 3 but no more. You can't skip 10-15 missiles launched one before the other in a road with other cars, trees, lightpost, etc.

@@new.romance999 With a little of my own experience in the boost cars, I'd say the most I could reach is 5-6 passes in the city. If they shoot 2-3 missiles per pass, that's 18-12 missiles dodged for 6 passes, and 15-10 for 5. Regardless, if I wanted to do this I would try at the highway or airport first. Keep in mind you really don't have to even go all that fast to dodge missiles, in fact going a little slow would probably be better since you'd be able to waste more of their missiles in each pass.

Ok so I got E&E and have been able to test. While the handbrake spin strategy does work, I found a better one. Turns out the car is so fast you can literally dodge missiles in reverse. So the strategy is to drive a slow speed (to make direction changes easy) and reverse/forward drive as necessary in order to dodge.

The uncanny resemblance of the Arbiter GT to the Vamos is such an insult to injury 'cause I quite like both muscle cars' design... And mildly interesting that the non-HSW Astron Custom is slower than the regular, but I guess that's needed when taking the HSW upgrades into account.

Unpopular opinion here, but I think the Vamos is one of my personal favorite free roam vehicles to drive in game. I don’t have a PS5 so I can’t speak for the Arbiter, but tweaking the suspension and the brakes on the Vamos make it much more predictable to drive and surprisingly good at drifting as well. I would never use it in an actual race as there are far better options in the muscle class, but still a really fun car to cruise around in, drag race, and drift imo

i actually wana point out rn that your track is getting outdated compared to tracks being put in the game, ive only been beaten once in my s95 hsw againt the cyclone 2 hsw and that was on a track like yours but most tracks have way longer straights and high speed corners wich you dont really have, would you mind maybe updating the racetrack and put the top 10 of every class on it that has hsw to compete with or just only the hsw ones. the top speed of the banshee and s95 makes them way different if lets say you ad 500 to 1000m more straights or higher speed corners. or maybe standardise on a hsw track that is out to see how they compare. i feel that this time comparison doesnt represent the real world anywhere close, keep up your work tho i really enjoy it

So I noticed the damage model for the Karin S95 is the same as the OG vehicles where it can get very compressed. Is this the case for all the new vehicles?

they’ve been testing this in the previous DLC too, pay attention to the Buffalo STX, it also has the same deformation as the O.G cars (although that could be down to it bring based on the Buffalo S)

I never knew the oppressor mk1 was the fastest land vehicle to do this circuit and it's faster than the mk2! I don't own the mk2 out of principle but I figured it could just do top speed the whole lap despite having a lower top speed than the mk1

Okay so (I only tried this with the hsw s95) when I drive the car out of the garage, for whatever reason the car is slower. When you drive back in the garage and the cars stats are lowered versus before the car was driven out of the garage. But when I call my mechanic and have it delivered to me the cars stats and performance are back to the way they are supposed to be. I’m 100% sure btw.

Wonder if the HSW Drag can finally compete with the Bati 801 on stunt tracks? Despite your findings here, while they hold up mostly true with the cars, I never found they held up true with the bikes. Even with the Shataro and the Drag, the Bati 801 still remained dominate with it usually being a Bati player winning 90% of races I joined. Maybe on really corner heavy tracks the Shartaro would eek out a win occasionally, but the race positions at the end usually had Bati's always at the top of races. And the Drag bike, sheesh you're lucky to ever see them ranking 8th or 9th place. Bati's and Shataro's just wrecked the Drag. Problem with the Drag is the same problem the regular Hakachue has, it's fast in a straight line but absolutely terrible in the corners as it massively understeers. Shatato is the king of corners but lacks the straight speed. Bati's always been the best all arounder with a mix of pretty decent cornering and pretty decent speed. So since it still understeers I'm inclined to say the Drag still can't match the Bati, but I don't have a PS5 to know for sure. So I'm curious how this boosted Drag would do in races now.

Please make a Sentinel XS HSW vs Previon analysis please. I’m curious to know what the better coupe is, and the lap and top speed tests don’t always give the complete picture.
