I understand Dinmite is going through comments and explaining why Broughy was at fault and 250ping was not, but I've read all the explanations and still disagree. No matter what the situation is, you don't try and overtake a drag king that's set up in an off-line position into a hairpin. The approach wasn't blind for 250, and that's easy to see in other laps during this race. I don't think there's malicious intent, so I don't think they deserve a sinbin, but they were in a significantly quicker car, with time to react. No matter what Brough did after the first corner, he's a sitting duck for anybody behind him, as anybody is with a Drag King. He didn't bolt into the position where 250 crashed into him, it was slow and predictable.

bare in mind 250Ping's perspective, it may be slow and predictable in broughy's POV, but not for 250 who is based in Aussie and thus don't necessarily see cars where they should be either way if broughy felt so hard done by it he could've called them out, and if people believed it was a bad move that deserves a closer look, they're more than welcome to open a report to PH staff about it

Tbf, from my experience on PH for several months, most regular folks are actually quite competent. It's just fanboys that thirst for broughy screentime that get the whitelist role, camp out til it's time to join, and then their brain stops working

I feel like that checkpoint threshold should maybe be worked on. Anyway, I've said it before and I'll say it again for the crew: the cars look and sound absolutely beautiful. Especially that racing truck! I want *all* of these GT and formula cars in the base game... gimme' those vintage racers!

we do adjust the size of the checkpoints but only if its needed, f.e. it gets adjusted if the default CP size means you miss the CP by hugging the apex --- not sure which part of this track needs bigger checkpoints, was perfectly fine when I was in this race

I wouldn't call it banworthy. However, there was plenty of time (even with the worst lag) to see that Broughy1322 was on the inside... In a 30 ft long dragster, coming through short 90° corner. The smart move would've been to wait for the inside to open up and go for a simple and satisfying undercut. And if they do lag that bad, maybe they should take that into account and not go for bold overtakes. They might not finish where they would like, but other people shouldn't have their races ruined because someone with terrible lag feels like they belong in the front.

Honestly, looking at 21:20, specifically paused at 21:24, I have no idea what he was even trying to do. He drove straight into the back of him. If they lag bad enough that Broughy was in a position to overtake him on their screen, maybe they should know to take the race especially easy, or not participate in them? I have no connection to this community so I'm not trying to cause problems, just think the conversation is interesting.

As it was obvious enough, Kru was hit from the back, leading to hitting Broughy in the hairpin, indicated from how he entered the corner facing the wrong way. Broughy even says it. Plus Brough just continued ahead of then, thus no need for a callout because Brough was still ahead. There's not much in that Ardie divebomb because the gap was there, Brough looked like he turned in super early comparatively, yeah he _could've_ called them out but I wouldn't have. 250Ping was not at fault for the Drag King incident. Broughy went across track and covered the entire width, where was 250 meant to go? Entirely on Broughy for that, he has no right to call 250 out for his mistake. While I do agree Adam should call people out more often, some of the incidents you stated aren't incidents worthy of callouts.

If you excuse him not being able to turn at this speed, where the h*** is Broughy meant to go?! He is in front, he could be seen from miles back, so either choose your line accordingly or brake - end of story!

@@DiNmiTe I have seen enough examples throughout the race of people avoiding the drag king no problem. I cannot imagine any corner is THAT blind unless you go first person. If you are in a nimble car and drive in the back of s.o. who simply has no chance to stay out of the way ("hug the left" with a drag king, come on, then the next corner would be even worse), you're the one to blame. It's a fight for position, no overlapping, Broughy has no obligation to get out of the way and does not drive an outrageous line, either. Nonetheless, thank you for your elaboration on your view! Let's see what others think.

The thing with that Drag King lap is It would have never happened if you hadnt crashed the Broughcar and lost these 10-15s It snowballed from that incidence and altho it wasnt the direct cause of the other crashes, ultimately they only happened because of it

A part of me wants to waste my time asking why modders can take something so simple as custom engine notes, forced induction SFXs (Turbo, Supercharger, etc.) and varying models of the same cars but alter them enough to make then stand out and be unique (Cheval UTE with that V8 and supercharger or the Obey 9F GT3/E and it's Turbo blow off sfx) yet the billion with a B game and it's dev team for the past 9 yrs (now) haven't incorporated anything like it. Shark Cards are the bane to a grinders existence (or just regular casual for that matter) but I'd spend some of my paycheck on'em to get cars like this in the console ver of GTA O. There's a legit reason I'm sure, I just don't know what it is.

In either case there have been multiple cases where brough does not even touch the other person but his lag does and they callout and or he waits of his own volition. As you stated previously, people need to be aware of their lag and 250ping is no exception.

The random all races are done on the Project Homecoming server on FiveM. This is PC but not an available game mode on Vanilla. He does have a playlist off all the Random All races on his channel. This is technically a Random More however as everyone got the same cars during this race.

Is there a rule that you have to do your best to grip race in every car in the random races or something? Cos I just thought wouldn't it be fasted to use the disadvantage of GTA 5's broken game mechanics and drift around the corners and keep your speed instead of slowing down to grip around it since when you accelerate in a drift car your tyres spin up anyway?
