Thanks for the videos Barry. My son Rick just me your U-tube channel. About two weeks ago I bought a 1959 Bridgeport milling machine and in the process of rebuilding it. These videos are a game changer for me, they really help. I was apart time shade tree machinist for a company and used a Bridgeport machine.

Barry, an old motor assembly mans trick I learn from a guy the worked at Lincoln Electric motor assembly plant back in the day is: Get a long bolt long enough to stick thru the top end bell or piece of althread the correct size, in this case, 10-32, when it's setting in place, cut the hex off and cut a flat blade screwdriver slot at the end of the rod. screw it into the position you want to ID, then when you set the stator down and end bell on top everything is in perfect alignment. take out the rod and install the original. Not a world-changing tip but makes the motor assembly a little easier and quicker, I see you pretty fast at it already!

I like to use two shrink wraps put one on shrink it put another one on and shrink it instead of using tape
