It cannot be said that the people of Delhi didn’t vote for AAP. I strongly believe there was tampering with the vote-counting machines in certain Lok Sabha constituencies. Not in all areas, but in many where the BJP felt their chances of winning were slim. This includes regions like Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, and Odisha. Meanwhile, in states like Uttar Pradesh, where they were confident of winning, they likely left the machines untouched, which is why they were able to see the real mood of the nation in UP.

Sujit i do listen to your analysis and find you very fair most of the times. Unfortunately i do not agree to your analysis this time. What you are not seeing is the intent of the party or the leadership in AK. He/they are focusing on Education, Health which are the two main sectors that they have. Have you gone to your local govt school in your city, then go to the Delhi govt school, you will understand that it is nothing short of a miracle. See the concept of Mohalla clinic. Middle class people can visit a beautiful clinic and get yourself checked up for free. That is called a social net for the people. Now after all this so called freebie, the balance sheet is not in a deficit but a surplus. If dont understand this fact it is sad that you criticize and dont know the role of a political party or administration of the govt. It provides services to the people of its country in the best use of its available resources. The popularity of AAP is not declining it is clearly growing as an alternate to the bullshit of the other parties. If you want all the rights, then you want someone who is intellectually strong and on your side or on the side of the right.

Kejriwal should know that the trust and confidence that people had in Kejriwal years ago has totally diminished and this was clearly reflected in Loksabha polls. He was released on bail a week before to campaign in election but the people of Delhi were not happy and AAP didn't do well in Loksabha election. The same could happen in Assembly election too and they could lose in Haryana and Delhi too. People in Delhi have lost faith in AAP especially after Kejriwal was sent to jail in corruption scandal and has NOT received a clean chit as yet.

Democracy may act as an insurance against dictator ship, but ultimately choices needs to be focused, streamlined in the language of science, a leader with his vision is needed, other wise choices will be abundant, and no coherent work can be done. Kejriwal is talented, what people call is free bies, are actually contribution towards human resource development, which is very important for development of nation.
