such an Excellent video , able to see all angles as you work ! I have a 96' geo tracker AWD automatic 1.6L. When removing my tires to install shocks do i have to be careful with the hubs or lugs since it is an automatic 4 wheel drive. or wont affect at all. ? Thanks Boss

Excellent channel. Love your Suzuki content. Listen I have a 1997 Tracker I am hoping to give to a good home. It’s in the SF Bay Area, in CA. But it came from St Louis, so it has a significant amount of rust. Also, I’ve taken the 1.6L and ECU out for my Samurai. Happy to include the ‘87 1.3L. That said, the interior is in okay condition (though the dash has been removed, I did NOT cut it out - I removed it carefully) the hood and doors are decent, tranny is good. The car has about 125,000 mi on it. I’d love to trade it for a pair of JX seats in any condition, but honestly I just hope I don’t have to send it to the scrap heap.

I have heard that if you have the coil spring spacers that give you a suspension lift that you can use crown Victoria shock absorbers to replace the stock ones, I’m guessing they have more travel but i don’t know if what I heard was correct or not.

You can go to any local auto parts store or shop online with vehicle description and ask for replacement shocks and they will have them available.

Hey guys got a 92 geo tracker 4x4 when I go around curves on the back rds it goes into neutral has soon as I straighten up it kicks back in and drives good running straight down the rd? It's on full trans oil on stick? What do u think it probably hasn't had a transmission flush and filter for 20 yrs?

A pro tip for you lightweight's, don't run the recommended tire pressure in these lightweight rigs. Mot tires want from 30 to 60 psi. Especially if you run a thick sidewall like a 10 ply. Don't buy those tires. You want a thin sidewall tire not meant for big trucks, for a smother ride. I run BFG Mud Terrain at 18 psi and it rides way better. These tires require 32 psi but that beat my guts out, 18 psi is were it's at for my 95 2 door 4x4 Tracker. Try it you will like it. Just keep in mind these only weigh 2200 lbs or so. Only side affect I can think of is it will debead easier when off roading. Think about it.

Purchased a 92 tracker that has a 2 inch coil spacer lift on it. Went to jack up the rear end on one side of frame as one side of axle drops down the rear coil became loose. I'm sure I can jack it up until it fell out. Lol whats the cause of this? This a strut issue or what?
