Hi Rowan Thanks for watching! There was ZERO seaweed when we were there mid November - not even out past the breaker they’ve added to keep it off the beach. Having said that, when I was at Sanctuary Cap Cana in January, it was quite bad (but the breaker kept it off the beach so that was fine). It does seem to be pretty unpredictable but I’ll be back in January and will be doing more videos so we’ll see what it’s like this time. Don’t forget to subscribe so you don’t miss any videos! hi we are going in august and wanted to ask are the club ocean front suites better than the club ocean view suites? was thinking the room you just shared ocean view might have a better more active view than just the ocean, please help cant decide:) luz

Hi Luz! The Oceanview rooms have a great view of the resort, so you can see what’s happening, but you then don’t have such a great view of the ocean. The Ocean Front rooms have a brilliant view of the beach and ocean but then you can’t see the resort activities. It’s a trade off but overall, I’d take the ocean front view in a heartbeat.

Yea this room was on the top floor but it mainly overlooked the Club pool. The main pool is at the front of the resort with infinity ocean views.

Can both showerheads (rainfall and wall-mounted) be on at the same time?

Hi Adam - no unfortunately, there is a button that allows you to toggle between the wall shower and the rainfall. Sort of like a tub-based shower where it comes out the bottom tap or re-routes to the shower head. I loved the rainfall shower though and found it had good pressure (sometimes these are nice & relaxing but impossible to rinse your hair!). Kalee Walker Hi Kalee Thanks for subscribing and for watching my videos! I really liked Club access because you get a private checkin, concierge / butler, great room location, and access to the private pool, club lounge and one extra restaurant for a la carte breakfast and lunch. You can access the club facilities on the Ziva side too so technically that’s 2 pools which are only for club guests. I think it’s worth it but with the resort newly opened, they weren’t strict about who could access what. As the resort gets fully up to speed, this will change, so whether or not you upgrade may somewhat depend on when you plan to travel.

We aren’t going until the end of April. The club pool in one of your videos looks like it had quite a bit of shade over the pool. Was there a lot of shade on that side for a good bit of the day? Don’t want to swim without the sun :-p. Also, regardless of club or not, do zilara guests get full access to ziva pool and restaurants?

Hi Kalee The club swim ups on the Zilara side have shade most of the day. The Club swim ups on the Ziva side are in the opposite side of the “w” so they have sun all day. All adult guests of Ziva can use facilities in Zilara side. If Club, can use Zilara Club stuff too.

Is there a tub in this room? Which rooms have tubs?

Hi Tanya! Most of the rooms at this resort have a modern bathroom style, with an oversized shower but no bathtub. In the One Bedroom Master & Grand Master Suites, they have a shower, as well as a bathtub, and a hot tub on the balcony. Cheers!
