They obviously want social media algorithms to associate "Lillys" with Lisa's fame and name, including her fandom name, her nickname, her official channel name and Lili's Film videos. A more related name for them would be Tillys or Tillies (just a reversal of their name). Or if they wanted a flower, they could be LiLLacs. 4th gen (and now 5th gen) have been trying to get free marketing by connecting themselves to Blackpink for the past 2 or 3 years now. That's why they always put out statements and comments and media play comparing themselves to Blackpink. It's not because they really compare. But if they use Blackpink's name and connect it to their own name, they get to piggyback off of Blackpink's huge reach. People will search for Blackpink-related things and then get results that show those groups that are constantly trying to connect Blackpink's name(s) to their groups. Aespa did it a lot when they started and so did New Jeans. Now Illit's doing it.

It is weird. "Lilies" is closely related to Lisa's name and to her nickname "Lili". Lisa's official channel is even named Lili Film and her videos are often called Lili's Films. But "Lillys" doesn't even really have any connection to ILLIT other than the letter "L". So of course they're trying to tap into Lisa's popularity and fame.
