Thanks for this video. I have two Gen 2 Prius and used both the Prolong grid charger and the discharger. I also have a 2017 Prius Prime plug in, this video explanation could work for me some day in the future. One question, if you have a depleted hybrid battery and use the grid charger, do you ever couple this with the discharger?

What if the lithium ion battery has 0Volts like a dead tesla battery. Can you charge one cell at a time by this technique with the RC charger and revive it?

Yes you can but there is too much potential difference with an 180v charger…

Thanks for the fantastic video Jose! it was very informational as always. I have a question. The prolong chargers don't list any compatibility for the current hybrid models. I'm assuming the compatibility is for the harness of the vehicle but the charger can still be used if you connect the leads like demonstrated in this video. Is that correct?
