Nice.. I can do it, sometimes fast, but not consistent tempo. Will try your exercise for sure. Hybrid picking make string skipping and 3 notes arpeggio much more easier and I like the sound of the attacking finger.

GREAT vid. LOVE the way you split the screen. Makes me wonder why more online instructors don't do so. You ask us what we'd like to see covered. I think a great 'lost' pedal is the wah. But not only the usual up & down effect .... I try & use the wah in a much more expressive way, sometime only using it occasionally during a lead as an accent for certain notes. Anyway ... just a suggestion. Keep up the great work & thx!

If you snap strings if could give notes more of a super accented or hard picked or unique sound, but sometimes I like to use a non super plucked sound for hybrid picking. Hybrid picking for Jazz can sometimes sound better to me with a guitar than strumming with a guitar too. Getting better at the song Badly Behaving by Animals as Leaders helped me work on hybrid picking and same with On Impulse.

For me, I usually want to use the pick before or after Hybrid licks, plus I prefer the tone of Hybrid in these instances versus Finger Picking 👌

Bit of a problem when you still bite your nails lol, came here after finally listening to Dystopia by Megadeth coz there's one lick that sounds amazing but Kiko uses hybrid picking which I've never tried
