Making Pit Stops Less Lag

My sorting belts won´t take nuget and bar, I had to make separate sorting belts for each one. Also I have completely scrapped Iron diggers and made the are bigger and a workshop/sorting area. That opened the top only for the greenhouse, garage and I have a wonderful idea for house. When it´s all done will take a tour trough OBS and post it. The possibilities of combining different poles, walls and such are endless and it looks so good.

Ib other games devs take in huge maps so they can work out the lag and bugs .. would you know hydroneer do the same thing??

I'm still in the starter area figuring out what else to do there rather than moving to a new area and start all over again xD All my space is gone, half for the drills and half for the plants

So the game has trouble rendering an automated system when you're not in the area to load it in? I've noticed a couple bits of ore or shards next to my smelters when I load into the game occasionally, and I was wondering what was causing that. I guess that means I should turn it off when I quit out or go questing?

what is your pc specs, I bought hydroneer cause it looked cool and I wanted to make my own mega build but I had 10 tier 1 drills and I was at like 10 fps, and I have a 1080 TI and a Zenon CPUs so I just stopped playing the game because of how bad the fps got and when I see all these mega builds I honestly wish that was me but I just cant play the game with that big of a build.

ryzen 3700x 2060 super and 32gb ram it helps if you put vsync on and limit the frames as well

Question: is there any merit to use tier 3 pipes only for miners and move belts with tier 1-2 pipes? I'd guess having to calculate less movement per second would seem intuitively less stressing for the cpu/gpu.

u can use t3 pipes on everything thats up to you.. but its very costly on the token wallet.. just doing the belts alone from top to bottom cost 50 grand. and if your going to put t3 pipes in the drills as well u have to run a t3 pipe to the drills as they need a continuous tier 3 line and no crappy pipes on the line

I´d actually suggest the opposite. You can keep iron diggers on iron pipes, cloutium on cloutium pipes, but you wanna have belts on the highest speed because of the amount of dirt on them. The faster they are the less lugs as I have found out. And I have also dug canals in walls and placed it all behind walls. You gotta spend all the money on something, right? I´ve got pipes and these belts and wires all behind walls.

cool build and good idea to save FPS i bet if these drills run on my PC it will go down to 1 FPS im still using GTX 960 Core i7 4470
