Do you all realise the depth that is on this Hydel team. 100m 200m 400m 100m hurdles 400m hurdles. McAnuff is never mentioned when we talk about potential for the future but she is a force to be reckoned with. Level-headed, smooth - a silent assassin. It’s really annoying when the commentators don’t know the athletes. It was Oneika McAnuff on the 2nd leg for Hydel, Kerrica Hill on the 3rd and Brianna Lyston on the 4th. It’s not hard to know who these girls are. They are World Champions. This is a prime example of Americans only knowing their own athletes. The Penn relays is an international track meet, where Jamaican schools are prominent. These athletes hold the most wins and the most records, it's time we learn who they are.

@@beistrong8635 Of course I remember. I know it can be hard but come on that was a big mix up. This is a championship of America race. These girls aren't new here. I wouldn't be so annoyed if it wasn't a consistent pattern across so many Penn Relays. But also, it's their job and this was one of the biggest races of the entire meet. Regardless of it was a Jamaican or American school they should have known who was running, and yes people can make mistakes or not realize there was a switch up, but at least one of them should have known enough to correct that whilst they are still running, this was a 4x4. The race organizers need to do better briefings especially for these big races. I know they only said Oneika's name wrong because it was spelt wrong on the the sheet. You can see the wrong spelling on the results website. Again, all of this can be avoided if they get commentators who at least know the big athletes.
@seanwilson5516
@seanwilson5516 2 жыл бұрын
You think a Jamaican commentator would know all the athletes from American schools? Your delusion has to be innate. You think people are keeping track of athletes they're seeing once a year, especially when thousands are competing. Jamaicans obsessing over HS athletes doesn't mean anyone else gives af. Get a clue.

What do you do with Kerica Hill. 11.16 in 100m 12.7 in 100mh world Jr record look easy in the 400 With the 400 strength and the 100m speed she should be good in the 200m . Dam what a problem to have
@uhuru27
@uhuru27 2 жыл бұрын
With so much talent Kerica should not go to the US college system they would have her run everyone of those event. Indoor and outdoor every frigging week from January to June. She should go to Utech and transition at her pace
