Lakdikapul to Hitechcity via Mehdipatnam is actually essential route… for thousands to techniques & for common people. Airport is flop route they can still afford for cab or air port buses. But daily travelling for jobs is essential for survival of family. Think wisely not like a dumb….

advantage of extending from nagole line is that both red and blue lines are connected to airport from east. If yellow line from lakdikapul to Kondapur or BHEL is constructed, then western red and blue can also be connected to airport. besides, this route also means that south Hyderabad will have at least one metro line because green line extension has many complications as of now.

@@ytadi9229 airport metro via nagole just doesn’t connect nagole to airport but rather is also focused on connecting the areas inbetween which has huge traffic congestions especially at chandrayangutta and aramgarh. So Greater benifit and you should also consider the political scenario with this part being a strong side for congress government

Frankly cheppali ante...Metro station baduluga..Flyovers vesi aa route lo ne...inko 10-20 buses nadapali with non-stop (just like train)...cost tagguntundi...ekkuva buses frequency increase cheyochu.

Almost initial 300crores used for project report for Rai Durgam to Airport have been wasted !!!! That was a decent and pragmatic project

Now Secunderabad to airport is 300rs/trip with 1 hr travel time, after metro is built time would be 30min~ but fare would be >500rs/trip. Airport metro may reduce time but fare would be exhorbitant and unaffordable to many travellers thus proving to be a white elephant for citizens but a cash cow GMR as a whole.

If a company is in both Vijayawada and Vizag then most people in AP are saying that they will prefer working in Vijayawada because then they can be nearer to their native place, parents, friends, etc and also if they ever want to change jobs they can travel to other cities like Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai to attend interviews, etc. Vijayawada is one of the greatest cities of India be it in-terms of BBB advantage (Buckingham CANAL, Bhavani ISLANDS, Bandar PORT), International airport, Biggest Railway junction & Bus station. And the road connectivity where within 7 hours one can reach Hyderabad, Chennai, Bangalore (Expressway under construction), Nagpur (Expressway under construction), Vizag. Not to mention the freight corridors in construction.

This is thuglaq connection. Gachibowli to airport is correct actually. Congress is doing again tuglaq ruling. Most of the travellers to airport are from IT hub. If the airport connection is from nagole again people from IT hub will pic cabs. What is the point of wasting money. This also will be a loss venture.
