Just finished the bus which I loved and now to tackle those Hydrangea's flowers which are not so easy for me. I am almost 80 but know this is really an old flower my grandmother had lots of them I remember as a child.

This is the perfect way to spend my quarantine. Even though I'm mostly a digital artist (I keep trying to control z to undo) but I love watercolor. And this is the perfect idea for mothers day. My mom absolutely loves Hydrangeas so I cant wait to see what she thinks. Edit: I gave it to her and she loved it! Cant wait to paint more!

Aww! We had hydrangeas at our wedding last year. They are my favorite because they just give me such a magical feeling! Doubt I can paint them as magically as you 2, but now I have to give it a try!!!

I’m rubber stamper but am now painting because of sarah cray! I have a hydragea stamp. I let my grandgirls decide what colors it should be. We had orange flowers with purple leaves! Red leaves and green flowers! Beautiful!! I’m thinking I will have orange flowers when I paint this!! 🙂

Hydrangeas have very thick woody stems to support those heavy floppy flowers. I have noticed that a lot of painters favor the flowers, then the leaves, but the stem is often completely "off" and since I am a passionate gardener, it drives me nuts!

OH MY GOD! YOU ARE ALSO HAVE A LATERAL BRUSH GRIP! I was afraid It would limit me as a (re)emerging artist, but now I feel so much better knowing that you also have a lateral grip. I can't tell you how validating this is because my teachers tried so hard to correct my grip.
