I musy say after having this synth for over 3 months now ASM could have priced it much higher given it's quality build and sound. Glad to see new competition among synth makers! Can only result in better, more competitively priced synths as well as innovation.

I just orderd the Deluxe model. Doulbe the voice count, Splits and Layers, Release velocity, 6 octaves for more access to bass and high notes on top of the already great features and I was sold.

Thank you Paolo :-) The best analog sound demo so far, showing how well the Hydra can recreate some classical analog sounds. I wonder if the new firmware update with the warmth mode, will add even more bottom end, and presence to the sounds?

@@TheSynthZone : I bought the Hydrasynth and recently tried to recreate some sounds from Roland System-8 JX-3P plugout synth. One needs to add some filter drive, bass& treble boost to get very close to the JX-3P filterflow preset H1. Analog warmth activated, also give the sound some drive and bottom.

Wow!! Glad I bought this synth!! Just bought a 16 voice Moog One and you have the Hydra sounding fantastic!!! Had to have the keyboard version, I sold the desktop. It has the ribbon like my A6, gotta love them all!! Keep the videos coming!! This one is awesome!! Rix :)

I think this synth could could have been so much better if they had give it 16 note poly. You can hear notes cut off due to only being 8 note poly, which is a shame.

Digital is the shiznitz only a wall of Moog modular circa 1968 can compete, not some stripped down version. !2 made...amazing we never got a chance to spend a fortune like Hendrix did lol
