Does anyone have the force vs displacement graph of a simple manual hydraulic jack ? I mean how the force changes when we use and press on the lever of a hydraulic jack ! I want to know the complete scenario : before pressing the lever , while pressing the lever and raising the object , after raising the object! I want to know how the force and pressure of fluid changes during the whole process!

Dear Sir............Example Problem : One hydraulic cylinder, the end is connected to the Threaded rod so that it can be rotated. Cylinders with a bore size of 18 mm, 10 mm rod and a stroke of 300 mm single acting in a condition that is filled with oil. If the cylinder is rotated 10 mm. a. How to calculate it b. What is the gauge pressure

Dude thanks but I'm confused of the 2 you divided in area.
@rat_king12365 ай бұрын
the equation for area requires radius which is the diameter/2
Explain everything throughly sir as i cant understand... Plz give a reason for everything u write and give a good reason.. Also this part 4:05 remake da video 4:28 here too pi... Unable to understand... Understood very little😢😢😢😢😢 4:53

THANK GOD IM NOT ALONE!!!!! He spends the first 5 minutes explaining the formula P= F1/A1 etc. Then at 5:01 (solving the Ex) He gave NO prior explanation of formula he used?????100/pi(0.1/2) Then proceeds not show how he got the answer 12.732... Where did he pull this random formula from with no context? are we supposed to know 100/pi? This is a 6 year old video so I doubt he will reply.. But you're not alone. I've been studying for the ASVAB and this Hydraulic press themed problem is giving me so much shit in the Mechanical Comp Section. Good luck mate hope you well!

Is it bcz p= rho h g
@fluidsexplained19013 жыл бұрын
Yes, exactly. Pressure is rho g h, so only ever a function of the height of the fluid, not the container shape. This is called the hydraulic paradox. I’m planning to make a video on it in the future.
