Matt, since you disassembled it all the way apart, you should always replace all bearings and seals, check into a local bearing shop, they can get them much easier and cheaper and they will be a name brand bearing. By the way, spend the money for a new pump assembly, you'll be much happier later and you'll have full pressure when you need it later.

About the spinning bearing. Use a punch on the bearing housing and make little dimples (a lot of them) all around evenly and after that use very hard retaining compound to seal the deal. You could also sand the outer race of the bearing to further help loctite keep it in place. It is still way better then freely spinning bearing. But you can only do it if there is little to no play. If you feel there is a clearance between the bearing and the housing (you can feel the bearing moving other then just along the bore) then the only thing you can do is to machine a sleeve and restore the original bore, or machine a bigger bearing in there. I hope this helps!

@@kstricl I had to comment, because I have done it succesfully many time, but in order to succeed it can't be too loose, yet is an option. However it totally depends on how easily it is serviceable later on after assembly. Naturally if it is a very difficult place then do it right the first time.

The main pump is a variable displacement pump. Pressure is constant, but displacement (volume) is changed according to load. So, when you use several controls at once, pump goes to full displacement. They make variable displacement pumps so the engine and pump aren't under constant full pumping load and bypassing to control flow. This is obviously good for engine and pump life, but also for the hydraulic fluid- much less heat build up by making fluid do unnecessary work. You SHOULD be able to buy replacement bronze inserts for the head of the body and displacement cam.

Repairing the housing where the Outer race was spinning is no problem. You need a very sharp pointed punch. You want to go and punch the housing where they’re bearing rides. That will raise the material around the punch, MARK. I would do four around the circumference of the whole. I would do 12 o’clock 3 o’clock 6 o’clock and then 9 o’clock towards the outer part of where the race. In between those four punches, you do the same where the inner race would ride or I should say the outer part of of the housing in between where the outer punches are so you wind up with eight punch marks total that are evenly spaced for our meet up edge of the race and four on the inner or lower edge of the race. When you install, I would definitely red lock on the outer brace where it contacts the housing and you install it, it will be snug against the punch marks. I don’t know if I’m explaining it very well but I’ve done this hundreds of times is a master technician with Ford motor company. Good luck. Enjoy watching the videos.

Like electrical system low amps operate the relay so the high amps csn be switched on and off the third is the charge pump , this supplies the oil to the other 2 , the charge pump will be a gear pump, as the other 2 are piston pumps , these cant prime oil. the piece you removed first with the level veries the flow of oil swash plate, yours has the 2 pumps .swash plate piston pump and charge pump /gear pump
