Hydraulic slewing crane T157/1 - LEGO Technic MOC

#LEGO® #Technic MOC of the hydraulic slewing crane T157. The crane - or rather an #excavator or "loader" - was developed and built in the former GDR. My MOC shows the first version for the construction industry, which was produced from 1957. The model is fully functional and is controlled purely mechanically or pneumatically.
Functions:
- Steering
- Driving
- oscillating front axle- Folding out, folding in, lowering and lifting supports
- Rotate body
- Raise and lower boom
- Gripper open and close

Danke. Stabilität geht so. Man kann das MOC durchaus bespielen, aber man sollte dabei nicht zu rabiat vorgehen. Gerade die Vorderachse ist etwas wackelig (aber hält fest, da is zu viel Spiel im Turntable)

Your model has too many flimsy parts like the steering wheel and the steering mechanism. Why did you not place the pneumatic pomp at some more accessible place?

Thx for your feedback. I placed the pump below the chassis because there was no other suitable place for it as the excavator doesn't have a vertical exhaust pipe or something like that.

That’s true but I tried to reassemble the original as near as possible and so there wasn’t any other placement for the pump
