Steel bolt tearing through the ballistic gel head and the guy says, "That's not optimal." Best understatement on KZbin!

Lauri, I've been watching your videos for years and I want to thank you for the fun science and mayhem, but mostly for the real safety lessons. I had no idea how truly dangerous a hydraulic press could be if used incorrectly. You may have saved lives with your entertainment. Thanks, and keep up the "not optimal" entertainment!

You guys should try to find some Tungsten Steel or Tungsten Alloy in tempered ductile form, a big enough cube of that might defeat your hydrualic press lol. Tungsten Alloys are some of the densest and strongest materials ever made when formed properly and heat treated. Also I saw on Etsy there is some carbon fibre plates bonded in stainless steel, that would be super strong. You could also get nano graphite powder or true graphene and bond that in a epoxy with carbon fibre to make a graphene epoxy carbon fibre cube or whatever shape your cast is, which can be super strong if you get the ratios right and find a real graphene source.
