You should request a play test and record the gameplay. Then, ask to see the rear components and spill a 120oz polar pop beverage on the guts, ruining the experience for anyone else for all time. Post the video and you will be infamous for all time. Your digital legacy will outlive your physical one.

Kinda makes the special edition more in line with the console versions which had Castle von Dandy as well as an exclusive track called the Catacombs.

I didn't take anyone's money. It was a last ditch effort to preserve this extremely rare version of a game many love. Calm down. No amount of donations or splitting would have made me come out with any extra money. I would have spent a lot of my own time and money to get this and copy it for the community. Someone bought these before I would have ever made it out there anyway.

I hope this works out man. I wish I could help fund this but times are tough at the moment. Ripping the HDD is super simple. I can send you the IDE to USB that I have and talk you through the process. I've made IDE to SD (not cf flash) backups of all of my arcade drives. Whatever you do, don't ship it. That is just another chance for it to potentially get damaged. You'll likely need to dump all of the ROMs as well. Sadly I can't help with that though.

@jeremylester6537 sure there is. It is just a single rom in Hydro Thunder's case. The HDD is typically just data, music, and textures. The rom for HT is lh28f004sct.u8b1. that could be signed different or who knows what on the special edition.
