True - instructions definitely are useless, but his video with the step by step instructions are very useful and help a lot . Our kayak has come with the bag . The price is great and it seems the material is hardy and strong , so we are looking forward to give it a test soon ! Good luck to everyone!

Hey, I've just seen this kayak and am thinking about buying it. May I ask, is it simply rubber or are the inflatable bladders coated with material, is it inside and out? Thanks for the vid btw!

@@liamtg What I noticed first from this kayak brand is that there is fabric material surrounding the inflatable bladders. Not like some where it's mostly just plastic. This makes the kayak much more resilent, especially when running/bumping into things. Thus, it keeps the kayak to stand up to more punishment. That's the main reason why we kept it and bought another one and returned the flimsy plastic one. I'd rather spend a little more money to keep it around longer. We REALLY like our choice!!! I think you might too.

Great video, thanks. The bladder/buoy is a float bag that should be used in most kayaks. Float bags are inserted in the bow and/or stern areas of the kayak and are to make it easier to right the boat in case of capsizing, or keep it afloat in case of taking on too much water, by displacing areas of the kayak with air instead of water. They are not for protecting the air valves.

It would be interesting to see a review a year after your purchase. Is it still in good condition? Our intex challenger k2 just collapsed after the second summer in use :( (so i'm looking into alternatives for a new 2 person kayak that would be more durable)

Sorry. I missed this question. I think. If you adjust the back seat closer to the middle, I wouldn't see why you couldn't just have you and the dog.

How do you deflate it? It doesn’t seem to want to deflate itself through the valves and the instructions are poop.

It's pretty easy. The three valves towards the back of the kayak - left side, right side, and bottom. Just open/unscrew them and the air should easily come out. Obviously, you'll have to manually press/squeeze the kayak from the front to the back to get all the air out. Let me know if that works?

Ummm. A pit bull? I can't guarantee that. But, yes the same valves that you inflate from, you deflate from.

Hi there, maybe a stupid question but can you also use this kayak with only one person? How about the drying of this kayak?

Hi. I've never had to us it as a one person before. You can do it, but understand that's longer and may require sitting in the middle or more towards the middle to balance the kayak or position yourself to paddle and steer a little differently. As for drying it. If you have time, then let the sun dry it out. If not, then you may have to hand dry it before folding it up and putting it away. Hope this helps.

No it isn't. I thought the same thing and I believe it is a release valve to empty the water out. The problem would be if someone hit it/opened it. The water would rush in. That would be a scary situation. *Note to self - DON'T mess with that valve while on the water!!!

@@blabdad2020 yes, HD Ventura, the first version, although I can’t see any difference between the two except the color (the first one was orange) BTW, up to how many kg’s ythis one can support ? In mine, you can go up to 200 kg’s which is great and one of the best on its category, I guess it’s the same with yours?!

Nice, thorough presentation! How is the kayak on the water? How stable, particularly on waves and in the wind? How does it track? P.S. You want to put the rubber rings immediately after the blade for them to divert water and, thus, prevent it from dripping on you and inside the boat.

The kayak is pretty stable with two people. We were in the bay going towards one of the springs on the Gulf Coast and it was very windy and the waves kicked up. But, the kayak tracked well.

Honestly, it was a "feel it out" test. Like you would do for a tire on a bike. I just simply squeezed it. But, the drawback also can be overinflation. I rather be over than under. Or simply get a pump that has a built-in gage. But, haven't found one of those yet. Let me know how it goes. Have fun!!!

I do around 1,5-1,6 easily, 0.8 is BS, as blab dad said, it’s exactly like you would do with a bike with the old pump, and trust, I did that several time since I had it one year ago and it’s much much better when it is firmer, it is very reliable you can tell after a short while of usage, enjoy it.

The instructions for it belongs in the back to cover up the release value, so it doesn't accidentally get popped open.

The plug is on the bottom of the underside of the boat. That cushion actually protects it from being accidently unplugged.

I have the same, it's a good kayak for the weekend, it could be a lot better kayak with an "upgrade kit" with a drop stitch floor and higher psi floating inserts (an upgrade to those vinyl bananas) witch btw I'm still can found as spares... So try to don't blow up one of those... For long time storage I would recommend to take that out (vinyl inserts) so you can drie all better

The only negative that can potentially be a hazard is the release cover at the bottom of the back of the boat. If this is open, it could flood the kayak. I haven't experienced it happening, but if it does and you are not in a good place in the water, then I could see a really BIG problem. So far, the kayak has been awesome!
