He has published more than 100 scientific articles on hydrogen damage and embrittlement, corrosion, and materials science. He is a member of the editorial board of the International Journal of Hydrogen Energy.

South Australia has embarked on a 5% hydrogen blend with natural gas in aged pipelines. Considering the minimal amount of hydrogen and the massive cost to produce it and the potential for pipeline degredation it seems hardly worth the effort beyond giving the appearance of being green.
