fascinating! I always believed hydrogen ICEs were the 1st stepping stone away from fossil fuels. While HFC tech is being developed, ICE tech is already ubiquitous and can accept H2 or petroleum - a great opportunity for transition to H2 infrastructure

Castor 927 maxima is one of the best oils out there, As of now i got my detroit 8v92 and small lock v8 2 stroke on klotz techniplate 2T and my rotary on amsoil dominator synthetic 2 stroke oil. Here is how a 4 joke is made into a 2 stroke:kzbin.info/www/bejne/p6DWcp-imM1rick. sounds awsome and one guy took a 5 cyl mercesed diesel and did a 2 stroke conversion, sounds and runes much better than it was as a4 joke. BTW nature uses 2 stroke cycle as all lightnings bolts are 2 stroke. The leader streamer fires down and the return leader fire back up completing the 2 stroke cycle!

strangely.. from India saw an example of a small 2 cycle motor bicycle that wasn't mechanically driven. the output shaft from the engine was fitted directly to an alternator and the electricity was wired to a controller and then to a 2000w hub motor. The 30cc chain saw/ brush cutter motor only had to maintain a steady 1800 rpm idle to power the bike to over 40 mph. A strange lesson in efficiency. It's out there. It's a video on youtube

Hi, thanks for the question! Yes I've had it running without oil with no problems, at least for the 20-30 minutes that I ran the engine without oil. Oil is required for lubrication so if a 2 stroke is run without oil for an extended period I expect the engine to seize. With a 4-stroke engine this wouldn't be a problem as you don't need to supply oil into the fuel mix with 4-stroke as there is an oil sump on the engine- this is not an option for 2 stroke. Hopefully for a future upgrade to the internal combustion powered bicycle using hydrogen I can get my hands on a 4 stroke to play with! Please subscribe to show support!

Well maybe there is a way. You can run a rotary on pure hydrogen. So maybe there is a way by replacing the O'rings. Maybe then it would run without oil.

So it runs and burns perfectly clean, just use castor 927 maxima fed to the bottom with the hydrogen, runs cleaner than most lousy 4 stokes

2 strokes need the oil for lubrication of the piston.4 strokes have the oil in the crankcase, where the oil is splashed up to lube the piston.

hey have you ever thought of adding an oxidizer? Like for example liquid oxygen? Try out compressed air. It should be cold enough to pull enough oxygen from the air in order to create liquid oxygen.

I suspect an oxidizer could be implemented & calibrated w/ the H2 to inject a perfect ratio of 2:1 hydrogen to oxygen, effectively producing a "stoichiometric combustion" greatly improving overall efficiency of power & fuel economy

Its ok if you burn a little castor 927 maxima, sounds way better than a 4 joke POS. here is a 2 stroke conversion.kzbin.info/www/bejne/p6DWcp-imM1rick. Its burn off a little oil and there is no oil to throw away! Every is caught up in this eco crap too much but not me. i got an 8v22 destroit 2 stroke and small block v8 2 stroke. im looking at a 6v53 2 stroke to repower my truck as i cannot stand the sounds of the 4 joke piece of crap that powers it. The 7.3 IHC it has is 2 stroke convertable though and it nice to see achates power woking with cummins on an OP 2 stroke diesel from 750hp to over 1500hp. there are both Clark uniflow charged and Day loop chared ans all sound better than this overated 4 joke crap! I get amsoil dominator 2t or my rotary and klotz techniplate 2t for the 8v92 and small block 2 stroke and i got both rigged up for total loss oil feed burn off. its 464 a gal for the klotz 2T!
