Have watched your videos. I am retired after 46 years in the Paint and body trade. I have purchased a tank and your videos have helped so very much. Thank you. I have great dips and have bad dips. The film I purchased seems to be dried out, if thats possible. I will be buying your film and activator next order. First order the film was dry. Second order was not like the first. But half was dry. The not dry dips great. I practice everyday. I will be ordering from you now. My first two orders were from another company. They seemed to help at first and then they don't respond. I am adding this to the shop, my son runs the Paint shop now and I want to add this to it. Gives me something to do.

would it also be possible to use a pump spray bottle for the activator?

I would not recommend this method. You really need to make sure the activator is atomized correctly and consistent across the entire piece of film you are spraying. It is unlikely you will get that consistency with a pump spray bottle.

What size tip? 1.4? Also when you say the activator is in the gun 100% of the time, are we talking hours, days, weeks or months? As a hobby dipper i probably only spray every other week

Yes we use a 1.4 tip. We never clean the activator out of our gun. It stays in the gun until it runs out and then we refill it.
