Deep Water Culture (DWC) hydroponics bucket that is surprisingly easy to build! Its only four basic things that will cost under $40 and take a short afternoon to make.
How to make it fast, cheap and easy to build.
You can transplant mature plants or start plants from seeds to grow in this thing.
This video is shot with the Sony Alpha a6600 mirrorless camera set atop a Ronin SC gimbal by DJI. B roll with Nikon D500 and DJI Oslo Pocket Camera, although that one was out of focus and I didn't realize that until editing.

Lol i dont believe it. With that bigass hole for the air line tube im sure light from the grow light would 100% grow algae and the orange bucket would be letting light in which would also grow algae so just admit that this guys right and the video you made is faulty as heck lmao and good advice to everyone else is to not follow your instructions

Any reason why you used a paddle bit to make the big hole for the bubbler? You could just punch a 1/4" hole in the foam that just fits the hose. Leaves less area where the lights can reach the roots. I've been doing DWC in totes....water levels are a pain in the ass. This is a better method and for sure it is easier to water.

As a grower I can see the following problems: Light leakage: this causes algae growth you will want a dark bucket with a lid. The basket should not be submerged in water this will cause root rot. Temperature is a huge factor again to hot it will cause root rot too cold it will stump growth
@SPACEDESIGNWAREHOUSE
@SPACEDESIGNWAREHOUSE 5 ай бұрын
I love hearing from a grower! It sounds like its a miracle that my plant grew so big! It eventually got tall enough I had to suspend some little ropes down from the truss above my set and it only died one day when I had a power outage while I was out of town for a week so the air pump in the water wasnt providing the roots with air.. Good points! I guess the warehgouse is quite dark, most of the time, except for the lights that are specifically aimed at the leaves so that solved the light leak - and the heat must have been a coincidence to be healthy..
