I feel like Lowe is the opposite of what the Ms should be trying to get. I get the skepticism on Kim, fine. Lowe is exactly what the Ms have taken a chance on twice now with guys like polanco and Garver. I’m sick of it. We need high contact and OBP guys not guys that play maybe 2/3 of the year and get on base at a .300 clip

I like the idea of trading for Hoerner and the cubs need pitching, should be able to get him for a couple prospects

I see your point, but we tried to get that exact player type with Adam Frazier. Remember how badly that worked out?

Wilson has been working with this staff for a while in spring training. Perry Hill is the best infield coach in MLB so that was a no brainer. Acta is highly respected and should be a huge asset to DW.

This. Dan has been a part of the org for years. It’s not like they brought in a random guy from Florida.

While I think Hye-seong Kim is a very good baseball player, my concern would be the adjustment period to MLB you guys alluded to in your video. He's got some speed and is a good defender at second base, and he's definitely more of a slap/slash hitter. Here are a couple of highlight videos if any of you are interested in seeing some of his highlights (they're from Korean broadcasts): 2020 WBC Qualifying Tournament Highlights kzbin.info/www/bejne/moaXhpeQmbKLsLs 2023 Kiwoom Heroes (KBO) Hit Highlights - Hye-seong Kim kzbin.info/www/bejne/aWOmnXdueLubo5Y I'd prefer going after Ha-seong Kim, but as a Korean-American, I'd be excited to see either on the roster.

Ha-seong Kim is gonna cost more. He has a proven track record and there will be lots of competition for him. If the M's sign him, that could very well be their "offense upgrade" money and we need more than that. I say roll the dice on Hye-seong, who is also a lefty bat (need more of those) and use our $ for a real upgrade at either 1B or 3B

Regarding Wilson and the Coaches, Wilson's been hanging around the Ms clubhouse for the better part of the decade in various capacities. He knows Acta, Hill, Woodsworth and the rest. Not trying to be Pollyanna-ish here but he probably does have a good working relationship with all of them and given their reputations it'd be foolish to get rid of any of them just because Servias hired them.

Soto should be Mariners Priority

Both would be great fits at 2nd and 3rd base while in their primes. Hopefully they can hit at least 240, 10 hrs, 50 rbis, and 15 steals while playing great defense.

You’d also have to pay the posting Fee for He-Seong Kim as well

Honestly guys I'm a shortstop Pitcher 2 way player available here from Bremerton and have a lifetime OBP of 345% my last manager was Wally Backman 😂 paid $800 a month seriously looking to win a championship I love the way you guys talk about the game could be some GMs in the future 🏆

What I don’t understand is ‘Dan Wilson was brought it to get the mariners to the playoffs’, and we didn’t make it. Why is Dan Wilson going to continue to be the GM when he hasn’t been a GM before, I don’t understand why we wouldn’t try and find a GM with a winning resume to really bring in a different voice. I don’t understand the mariners ever

What if Ha Seong Kim signs for 3-5 years? Do you think there is a chance or reason he would?
