You can wear perfume in front of your mehrams. For non-mehrams, consider the background of the ayahs or Hadiths. The intention matters: who are you wearing it for? Some people consider perfume haram because its fragrance can attract others. However, this mainly applies to heavy perfumes. Wearing a light scented perfume is allowed. According to "Sunan Abi Dawud 1830," Hazrat Ayesha narrated that they would go out with the Prophet and apply perfume made of musk to their foreheads. If one of us perspired, the musk would run down her face. The Prophet saw this and did not prohibit it. According to Sheikh Assim Al Hakeem, if a woman goes out wearing perfume but ensures that non-mahrams cannot smell it, then it is allowed.
