het koor wordt zelfs uitgenodigd in Westminster Abbey ( afgelopen zomer ) hoezo quality ? Wat hebben wij Kampenaren geluk met zo iets moois om je zoon naar te te sturen!! Onze zoon is 8 jaar, en stond na de zomervakantie weer te trappelen om naar koor te gaan. Fantastisch ! Dank aan Rintje te Wies en de 'motor' achter dit koor Henk Stoel!

Yes, a perfect rendition of a timeless English hymn. The choirmaster is a maestro. To get the volume of sound and the pinpoint accuracy out of that choir - takes firm leadership and exceptional training. Well done Rintje te Wies. Being British I won't try and say his name as I'll make a hash of it.. Careful, rhythmic hand movements by the choirmaster, just right, never too much. The organ is in perfect time, too. As good as any English cathedral choir, certainly.

I don't say it's bad. But if I'm not mistaken, today's youth don't sing classic hymns like these as much anymore. Everyone including grownups and elderly has a craze for contemporary music like the Hillsongs. But it is important that traditionalism is preserved.

what young people sing today (if you can even call it singing) is not a measure of what is good and of quality. This is not entertainment music. This music is lasting and valuable.
