My love of all organs started as a boy of 7 when I discovered a harmonium in the garage of a boarding house we were staying in at Clacton on Sea, for our annual holiday. It had been rescued from a bombed out church during the war. I spent hours pedalling away and playing on this instrument.

Very apt for its hymn in the HA&M! 'O praise ye the Lord, all things that give sound; each jubilant chord re-echo around; *loud organs* his glory forth tell in deep tone, and, sweet [aeolian!] harp, the story of what he hath done!'
