@acgEHQ8 жыл бұрын

This is kind of weird. I love this song, but I'm a Classical Marxist. True Communism. No state and all that. Which is what the Soviet Union was not. In fact, there has never been a "true" communist country, because it is an oxymoron. Anyhow, This song is fuckin' incredible, and I shall hope it is the anthem for the socialist state set up after the revolution. Onwards, Comrades!

major problem with communism and classical Marxism is that it stifles freedom. people in these systems are not free to disagree with the state ideology. That is why I support social democracy rather than socialism or communism.

Y'know, under Lenin and the bolshevik party even anti-semites and other reactionaries were allowed to act freely, for as long as they obeyed the laws. When for example revolutionary reactionaries started killing bolsheviks though they had to be taken care of, obviously. Then Stalin came and implemented slavic fascism. Good job there, tovarish Stalin, good job...
@teloresumoasinomas11106 жыл бұрын
In capitalism there is no freedom, social democracy is the left paw of fascism. Social democracy is only one more soothing, it is another instrument of capitalism for the people not to rebel, but it has fallen and the social democracy with Reagan is disleaded.

Now, what is the Soviet Union? It is a huge Socialistic block of nations without any problems on racial part. No racism, no nazism and etc. Everyone has a equal rights, everyone have an education for free (in time of USSR, it was best in the world), medicine is also for free, everyone has a job. Soviet Union is the first country who step to the Space. In some of the regions of the humanity (industrial, social, sciense) we were always been leaders. So no, we are not loosers.

@VaragianPrince OK my post was mainly supporting my statement that people migrated to different countries during the British empire and slave trade etc. which is shown by a huge change in Trinidad's racial structure in a matter of about 2-300 years, and the people who did migrate were highly likely to be skilled workers. Also, people (I don't remember if it was you) have been saying that countries run by blacks become full of poverty which is why I made the comparison with Trinidad and Russia

It used to be the national anthem of the Soviet Union and Russia from 1944 to 1991. But in 2000 until now, it is now the Hymn of the Russian Federation with the same music by Alexander Vasilyevich Alexandrov with new lyrics by Sergey Mikhalkov. The Soviet Union's anthem reflects on communism, while the new Russian anthem reflects on peace and democracy, and the unity of Russians.

1:20 I do like this one. It's very touching and warms my heart. On capitalist side, the ordinary violinist man plays his instrument in a dirty street, getting money to simply eat and survive one more day. On socialist side, the man plays his instrument merrily as a famous musician who none forget about for being a simple worker, in a luxury theatre accessible to everyone.

Interesting tidbit many of you probably didn't know (Russians included): former president Vladimir Putin is actually the grandson of one of Stalin's courtiers and food-tasters (like all great dictators, Stalin was paranoid about his personal security). How's that for a coincidence? P.S. "In America you are free, but you are free to starve." That's a Stalin quote. And with 100,000 foreclosures in America this year alone, and at least as many bankruptcies, it's the God truth.
