If I ever came into a ridiculous amount of money, I would need these for a prank. I'd rent an air conditioned storage unit somewhere in a busy city and have it paid for 20 years. Inside this unit I would place a single old-fashioned bedside table in the very center of the room, and on that I will set a briefcase. Inside the briefcase will be a dozen of these tins, and a carefully concealed lead plate to give the whole thing some gold-like heft. After 20 years, the clock starts ticking on the funniest episode of storage wars you've ever seen.
