This device only support up to 1080p30 - make sure you are not sending a signal higher than that

How is video transferred from the SSD to a computer for editing?

You have to pull out the SSD and mount it with a SATA to USB cable/connector

Hello! Thanks for the video. I'm in bewtween this unit and a hyperdeck studio mini. I've read online that this unit has bugs where it drops the recording and is generally unreliable. Have you use this enough to elaborate on the subject?

I was happy with mine for over a year and then hit some issues with recordings. Not sure if it is just my unit but I would push you towards the HyperDeck Mini as it is newer and is still being improved.

Hi, my name is mario from Chile I got this Hyperdeck Shuttle 2 but I'm not shure how to set up. When I finished with updated software with main menu nothing appear on my desktop. It's work as the same an external HD, I'm trying to give a new format to the disk but my mac do not recognice this SSD . Thank you

Battery Life sucks. The shuttle still works just fine but at this point its only while plugged in. I attempted to replace the battery but the battery won't come out easily. If I can figure it out I'll replace the battery because it is a nice bit of hardware.
