Just discovered this guy. Labeling him as a rock guitarist falls way, way short. With technical skills and chops without end, he plays so melodically and tastefully and doesn't spend 7 min. 50 sec. shredding on an 8 minute song.

when I discovered him , I remember checking his wiki where he is labeled as rock. Listened to him a lot and I can now assert that simple word can not define his style.

The thing I love about him is that he doesn't do much. But what he does is so meticulously done, so unique and each individual phrase is so mastercrafted that even though his licks are simple, the phrasing is absolutely insane and unrivaled by any guitarist I've heard so far.

I was watching other clips of him playing clearly through Kemper profiler. Then when I first watched this clip at the start I saw Marshall amp and I was thinking yeah the real amp sounded more warm and with depth.... hm... still not sure which amp he played though.
