im commenting while watching through the video lol. nemesis inferno had the worst operations when we went on monday. there were trying to fill the gates while pointing from the platform and checking restrains at the same time. made us move to row 5 when we wanted last row and no ones was already there

I can confirm it was open for a hour and a half on Saturday but then broke yet again and it was 5cm from stalling like literally it is kind of just getting funny now how I can’t open for more than half a day. Mabey it wasn’t the buffet cut to the theming but also to the power as they didn’t have enough to pay for the bills I hope it stops being so temperamental.

Haha possibly although Voltron did have similar issues breaking down every 5 mins so does make us wonder whether it’s a Mack issue with all new coasters and over time it will sort its self out 🤷

Test runs were around this slow on Wednesday morning, as I was stood in the queue line making the same noises 🤣 hope its sometbing small, Ive just boight all my gear for 236 day 😫

Went on it yesterday and the RAP was a god send because we got to ride it within 7mins during a 110min queue line! We got put in row 8 though so it was mad getting ragged over that crown and into the first drop! 😮😂

Guys, what is the story with the blank billboards in the queue line? I see a few of them. Were they where the drawings from the Hyperia video were on opening day? They looked a bit crap, but the blank white squares look worse, I think.

Never had an issue with RAP at Thorpe. In my experience they do it best. Never had a bad experience at Alton Towers until this new prebook capping malarkey. It’s our local park and it has seriously limited our visits this season due to being fully booked 5 weeks in advance. Yes, RAP queues at Alton Towers do tend to get busy, but the solution is more capacity, not less. Feels like a crude answer, and a cheap one. If a RAP queue was ever too long, we simply didn’t queue. We don’t complain either. I guess many others did. Great vlog. We are hoping to get on Hyperia next weekend…but nervous times!

Tbf I (Hayley) prefer it as it is, when you’re able to get a pre book it’s fantastic! Pretty much walk on so it’s working as it should, I’m not sure if capacity is the only issue, people are booking just in case and not cancelling, or booking for 4 when they only need 2 ect. We are the same though if the RAP queue is too long we walk away…. Always have I know my limits and it’s not worth causing myself issues for a ride. Glad you enjoyed the video! And I’ve just checked the Thorpe app looks like hyperia is open today so you should be good! It’s a fantastic ride!

Who knows although we’re thinking this one’s on Thorpe they can see how slow it tests without dummies or people on train so maybe they needed to either make sure it wasn’t to windy or put weight on the train!

@AdventureTimesUK I think the ride should complete the circuit regardless, for it not to is bad design. Something is wrong though, as it was completing its early test runs when the lifthill was running at a snail's pace.

How come when using the time stamp card you don’t have to wait the time of the queue? I thought that was how it worked at Thorpe Park - I could be completely wrong!

You wait the time outside of the queue, so they pop a time on the sheet and that’s the time you can go to your next ride. So if you go on a ride at 10 with a 30 min queue your next ride would be at 10.30 ( that’s what they will write on the card) the only one where your not getting timed out currently is hyperia but they have limited that to one ride per rap per day. Hope that makes sense :)

There's no good thing about this Mack ride as YET AGAIN on Saturday it broke down with people sat at the top of the lift hill for over an hour this is like I said turning into an embarrassing ride you don't expect to open a ride close it the day after for 3 weeks then re open then close again they should just rip it all down and put a B & M coaster there instead

No. RAP is limited to one ride on hyperia per day, so you ride it without being timed out.
