Love your videos! About 20 years ago, ismashed my finger after lubricating the track of my sliding glass door - ouch!! (We all hate any that hurts to our hands!!) The ND I work with said 'keep taking hypericum (homeopathic ) as long as you notice it, and apply hypericum oil or tincture!!' 🌼 💛 The fingernail did fall off! But regrew, with a faint line I also used comfrey poultices and clay externally, and world notice a healing buzz in the finger when I practiced Qigong, and when I offered Reiki during a massage session A year later, I rarely felt pain when a friend mentioned hers - she smashed the year BEFORE mine - hers still hurt, and she affirmed, it probably always will!' - whilst mine still occasionally 'buzzed' - and I affirm healing!! I have H. perfuratum in a container, so I can gather my own for making medicine, and just suggested it to a friend who recept broke their finger and is still in the healing process. So appreciate nature's pharmacy!

Fantastic video! I searched for that test conducted by Gaia herbs online, but couldn't find it. I've reached out to them in hopes of getting to see it because I'm so curious to see those results. H. punctatum is one of my favorite plants.

Ty Joe for the great info. I'm just finding St. J punctatum for the 1st time and an ornamental like the 1 you presented. Your video is right on time and answers my questions.

We have dwarf St.Johns Wart which grows naturally in our yard. My heart sank when the rub test revealed it isnt medicinal.

i think you should put the common names on the youtube title. people mostly search for common names and if youd like more people to be able to find these videos I think it would help with that. thanks so much for making all these! important work!

Do any other plants have tiny holes in the leaves like Hypericum perforatum? I planted seeds given to me as H. perforatum, and it has the tiny perforations, but it has small leaves and crawls along the ground and has been growing for 2 years and never flowered. 🤔

There's only hypericum ascyron available here, but is it as medicinal as perforatum ?

I bought one from a nursery last year. She did well but I didn't do much with it as far as tincture or oil yet. I'm definitely going to roll her through my fingers now 🤣.
