Nice video! I have the same bike as you but if i place the microphone in my back pack tha audio is a little too loud (i have the sc project s1 exhaust), fo you have any advice? I place the microphone in a lateral pocket

Geiles Video! Ich habe von manchen tatsächlich Beschwerden darüber gehört, dass SC Project auf Dauer zu sehr in den Ohren dröhnt. Kannst du das bestätigen? Oder fährst du mit Ohrstöpseln?

Maybe the s1 with decat. Mine was the sc1-r and has a huge db-killer, so if u get only the muffler is very quiet, with the decat is ok, and without db killer + decat is perfect.

Hi, I wanted to ask you how you make the sound of the motorbike heard so well, I have a Go Pro Hero 10 but it doesn't sound so good because of the wind. do you have any advice?

Hi! I use my iPhone for sound recording, placing it in the backpack. And then in post production i synchronize the audio to the GoPro clip. If u want even a better sound recording get an external mic like the Zoom h1n or h2n. iPhone is also good but personally I had a lot of problem for the wind too, cuz the iPhone doesn’t have a dead cat on the mic so I had to delete a lot of clip cuz the wind noise was still to strong.

@@gabroski I was thinking of getting the gopro media mod that comes with the wind cat and then later adding an external microphone to it. what do you say

If u use the mediamod without any other mic for pure sound recording I think is not the best option, because with the media mod u keep the mic on your helmet, that is very distant from the exhaust and also more exposed to the wind. In my opinion if u add an external mic placed in the backpack (so closer to the exhaust and more repaired from the wind) is a better option. I also heard that mediamod has some problems and sometimes it doesn’t record the audio. One good thing of the mediamod is that u can attach a wireless mic on it (the receiver on the mediamod and the mic in the backpack) and this allows u have the audio track directly recorded on the GoPro clip so u don’t have to edit it in post to synchronize it like I do with the iPhone.
