Finally someone recognizing that it's basic physics that's speculated, like gravity on descent and thrust by mini explosions touching atmosphere and lack of friction on ascent -possibly shutting down fuel outside those "touches" to save it, these vertical waves being intended only to continuously accelerate and not to fool chasers, this being only a side effect. The 10 Mach + speeds are achieved on the last portion of trajectory only -when they "disappear" from radar. Indeed once accurately established in a powerful computer on ground, the optimal trajectory depending on the distance to the target, a fixed table of such trajectories is loaded with a simple interpolation logic, so once the target coordinates are loaded the optimal trajectory is easily established by interpolating existing data and some random but fixed zigzag added at the end. To get this data however some homework must be done: correct physical phenomena and parameters introduced in the flight simulator software -on ground, by many corrective experiments done with much cheaper 10/20 times smaller rockets, some AI and numeric algebra algorithms used for faster results. Even Putin admitted that any country having cruise/ballistic missiles can soon have it, like Pakistan or Egypt. It will be very sad to realize later that war in Ukraine lasted more than 6-9 months, while most countries having cruise/ballistic missiles could have had it in 2-3 months sparing a million civil lives, as now Putin has the upper hand and tries to take the maximum profit while still can.

the hypersonic air hits the shockwaves standing in the throat of the engine and are immediately brought down to subsonic speeds, there it is heated greatly and then forced through a nozzle out the back. the act of the air passing through the shockwave slows it down to subsonic speeds and greatly and instantly compresses it. this is how the scramjet and all ramjets operate without a moving compressor system.

NO. Thats not how the Queensland version works , It compresses the air like a super charger , meaning more force out the arse. A shock wave from the air flow into front opening can result and has done many time with research gear on Russian super sonic missiles cause the motor to stall. IMO.

That what I commented on. Ballastic missiles have also stearable re-entry vehicles. Indias Agni 2 is a typical case. The difference between chinese and Indian agni 2 missile is that the chinese is more manoverable than Indian and can be manovered in space which Indian agni can also to a certain degree.

Dont think we cant use the glider to carry a nuke. At 8500 miles per hour it's a very quick weapon
@bobbygetsbanned60493 жыл бұрын
That's what I am also thinking but I don't know why no one is pointing that out. Sure at Mach5 an empty glider can do crazy things, but can they do that with the weight of the nuke!? I highly doubt it, yet no one is pointing that out for some reason.
@bobbygetsbanned60493 жыл бұрын
@Jeff Peate Interesting thought, has anyone made that work? Pretty sure a scam jet and bomb require two different formats for the core.
@bobbygetsbanned60493 жыл бұрын
@Jeff Peate I'm no nuclear physicist either but if the Chinese tested the same device as the Russians there should have been the same nuclear incident recorded. So I don't think theirs is nuclear powered, even if it is possible to reliably time a reactor to go critical before hitting the ground at mach 5+.
@afox53193 жыл бұрын
@@bobbygetsbanned6049 these gliders aren't empty and there are are light weight nukes. Like the b61 core should weigh around 270kg. That's not an awful lot of weight for a 340kt warhead.
@WitchyWagonReal3 жыл бұрын
@@bobbygetsbanned6049 How a nuclear warhead works to detonate and how a nuclear reactor works to generate steam power and electricity... these are two completely separate methods that only have the word “nuclear” in common, but not much else. For the uninformed or unaware public, sometimes nuclear weapons and nuclear reactors can be confused with one another to stoke opinions or perceptions... but they are two totally different things. 🙂

Hardly. Supersonic nuclear weapons -if ever used - will effect everyone who lives in a city (all major cities will be evaporated in a few hours) so these folks will very much be affected by them. The poorest people living in rural areas are actually the best off in the scenario of nuclear war.
