Hypersonic missiles can travel faster than five times the speed of sound. Russia and China have invested heavily in different types of hypersonic missiles capable of carrying both nuclear and conventional warheads. The United States has also invested in its hypersonic missile technology. What are hypersonic weapons capable of, and what dangers do they pose to international stability? Is another arms race under way?

Same here apparently US media is primarily showing clips of Ukrainian fighters doing good but independent media is claiming Russia is fucking up Ukrainian supply lines with missiles and is winning the war. A volunteer American ex Army soldier claimed this ain’t like Afghanistan at all because there they controlled the sky and primarily 10 insurgents would die for every nato fighter but in Ukraine they are the insurgents and they are getting fucked up.

On the question of racial discrimination, the Addis Ababa Conference taught, to those who will learn, this further lesson: that until the philosophy which holds one race superior and another inferior is finally and permanently discredited and abandoned; that until there are no longer first class and second class citizens of any nation; that until the color of a man's skin is of no more significance than the color of his eyes; that until the basic human rights are equally guaranteed to all without regard to race; that until that day, the dream of lasting peace and world citizenship and the rule of international morality will remain but a fleeting illusion, to be pursued but never attained.

Finally someone recognizing that it's basic physics that's speculated, like gravity on descent and thrust by mini explosions touching atmosphere and lack of friction on ascent -possibly shutting down fuel outside those "touches" to save it, these vertical waves being intended only to continuously accelerate and not to fool chasers, this being only a side effect. The 10 Mach + speeds are achieved on the last portion of trajectory only -when they "disappear" from radar. Indeed once accurately established in a powerful computer on ground, the optimal trajectory depending on the distance to the target, a fixed table of such trajectories is loaded with a simple interpolation logic, so once the target coordinates are loaded the optimal trajectory is easily established by interpolating existing data and some random but fixed zigzag added at the end. To get this data however some homework must be done: correct physical phenomena and parameters introduced in the flight simulator software -on ground, by many corrective experiments done with much cheaper 10/20 times smaller rockets, some AI and numeric algebra algorithms used for faster results. Even Putin admitted that any country having cruise/ballistic missiles can soon have it, like Pakistan or Egypt. It will be very sad to realize later that war in Ukraine lasted more than 6-9 months, while most countries having cruise/ballistic missiles could have had it in 2-3 months sparing a million civil lives, as now Putin has the upper hand and tries to take the maximum profit while still can.

And even if there is a conflict with such weapons being deployed... we won’t know hard details about these weapons (beyond basic anecdotal observations) until months or even years after the conflict has been concluded. And even then, these weapons will already be “yesterday’s” capability, as governments scramble to integrate superior next-gen technology based on information gathered from the lessons of the previous conflict. It’s an appalling cycle. 🤔

the hypersonic air hits the shockwaves standing in the throat of the engine and are immediately brought down to subsonic speeds, there it is heated greatly and then forced through a nozzle out the back. the act of the air passing through the shockwave slows it down to subsonic speeds and greatly and instantly compresses it. this is how the scramjet and all ramjets operate without a moving compressor system.

It will be necessary to design a new defense system as a military base keep safe. The design will be considered a jammer or hinder for the missile. So the inlet course circumstance should be made by some other substance. I propose the course's density should have thick differed from the atmosphere. So the missiles will be hard to calculate the find-out to the course. The defender will be able to change the substance like various liquids. The high sonic missile has to depend on oxygen density, so I think It's a good idea. As this method certifies, we have to take space-hydrodynamics and meteorology.

Pavel Sozinov, .. "We can deal with any hypersonic missile, either existing or that can be created in the near future", Sozinov told Sputnik News. "These 'super missiles' developed abroad pose no tangible threat to us, and we know how to develop further in this sphere." You need to understand that the increase in speed itself does not have significant unpleasant consequences," Sozinov said. "Any hypersonic target can fly to the target at its maximum speed only at high altitude, and as it approaches the target it decreases, enters the atmosphere and loses speed. There are other nuances that I will not go into. In short, any hypersonic missile-both existing and which will be potentially created in the foreseeable future-is within our reach." Sozinov similarly quashed any notion that hypersonic missiles were an impressive feat. "We have been living in a 'hypersonic reality' for a long time," he told the news agency. "In particular, almost all ballistic missiles we work on have hypersonic speeds. The missiles of our anti-aircraft systems, for example, are capable of developing hypersonic speeds, this is also not news. The topic of developing 'super-missiles' abroad does not create any noticeable problems for us. We know where to develop in this area."

It’s hard to say if a hypersonic missile will be accurate enough to hit a strategic target by maneuvering at those speeds. It’s all talk at this point no one knows. Because if a aircraft carrier turns or speeds up at the wrong time it can ruin the missiles accuracy. It is hard to maneuver a missile at those speeds.
