It's A min scale using the basic chords of A min Dmin, G Maj C Maj, and so descending diatonically. The same stuff we shredders learn on Day 1 of playing neoclassical licks. Hes playing some dim chords in passing and yes, you can hear the G# note borrowed from the A Harmonic minor scale as well. The picking section is switching between sixteenth notes and sextuplets. Good stuff man! Sounds great!

Do you use the Yngwie pre wired pick guard with all the goods already soldered in? I have the same sonic blue strat sans the scalloped fretboard. I was thinking the pick ups need to be just a little hotter. Suggestions?

@@PanosArvanitis I met Yngwie in a Club back in the 80`s when it was reported that he was a nightmare to interview, BUT I introduced myself and commented on his playing and my attempts to learn his techniques, and to my utter surprise, he OPENLY talked about his picking and arpeggios, songwriting and gear like he was my BEST FRIEND... A true LEGEND and GENTLEMAN, with common interests, he was amazing... I even questioned him on why he wasn`t keen on utilising MAJOR Key signatures and arpeggios??? We must have talked THEORY for an hour and was one of the most joyous experiences of my life... A TRUE LEGEND!!!
